IB Updates

  • IB Community Projects- Our eighth-grade students are currently working on their IB Community Projects. The Community Project is an opportunity to use what students have learned in years 1 and 2 of the MYP to determine a problem in a community and ways they can help. Students work in groups (of no more than 3 students) to research a problem, plan a way to help, carry out their plan, and reflect on what they have learned from the process. Eighth graders will continue to work on their projects this upcoming Wednesday and Thursday during their Social Studies classes.
  • Please see the flyers for our students' projects and join in supporting them! - Community Project Events
  • Save the Date: Our Community Project Showcase will take place on Thursday, April 2nd. This will be an opportunity for our 8th Graders to present their projects to the 6th and 7th Graders.

The March IB Learner Profile Attribute is: Risk-Taker
"We approach uncertainty with forethought and determination; we work independently and cooperatively to explore new ideas and innovative strategies. We are resourceful and resilient in the face of challenges and change."
