I am thrilled to be Winkler's 6th Grade School Counselor! 

I grew up in Minnesota and moved to North Carolina in 2001, where I earned my bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. I continued my education at UNCC and completed my master's degree in School Counseling in 2007. I have since worked as a School Counselor for Cabarrus County Schools - spending the last 10 years at Winkler Middle.

In my role, I support students through individual counseling, small groups, and classroom lessons. I work in partnership with administration, teachers, and parents to foster student success. I look forward to building relationships with Winkler students and families while supporting students as they work toward their future goals!

Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, reading, kayaking, antiquing, and spending time with my family and friends.
