Winkler Middle School is excited to welcome Mr. Benjamin Pitts to the administrative team! Mr. Pitts brings a strong background in education, having spent eight years teaching math and coaching wrestling at Cox Mill High School. He holds both a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s degree in School Administration from UNC Charlotte.

Most recently, Mr. Pitts served as an Assistant Principal at Central Cabarrus High School, where he developed a passion for supporting students and staff in new ways.

Outside of school, Mr. Pitts and his wife just welcomed their first child—Rowan James Pitts—born this May!
