🎓🏗️ DAY 9 | Building Future-Ready Wolves!
At Winkler, we aren’t just preparing students for the next grade—we’re helping them build the foundation for what comes next! 🐺❤️💛
Our 8th Grade Counselor, Mrs. Caleffie, is pushing into classrooms to share information about Program Choice opportunities and to help students explore the many pathways available as they transition to high school. These sessions emphasize college and career readiness, encouraging our Wolves to think about their interests, strengths, goals, and the many opportunities ahead.
As students in an IB school, our Wolves are developing the critical thinking, communication, inquiry, and global-mindedness skills that equip them to pursue a wide variety of high school programs and future pathways.
This is all in preparation for the Cabarrus County Schools Program Choice Roadshow, which will visit Winkler on September 14! During the Roadshow, all of our students will participate in rotations to explore the exciting programs and opportunities available throughout CCS.
