🏗️🐺 DAY 5: The Spotlight is on the Wolfpack!
Yesterday, we were excited to welcome members of our district Communications Department to Winkler to capture some of the incredible learning and opportunities happening across our campus! 📸❤️💛
Their visit highlighted several programs that help make the Winkler experience unique, including our NEW Chorus program, our CTE offerings, and Spanish!
🌎 We’re especially proud that Winkler is the only middle school in Cabarrus County where ALL students are taught a foreign language—an important part of our identity as the district’s only middle school IB school. Providing every Wolf with exposure to another language and culture is just one more way we are expanding opportunities and Building a Better Future for our students.
🎶 From finding their voices in Chorus, to developing real-world skills through CTE, to broadening their world through Spanish, our Wolves are learning, exploring, and discovering new possibilities every day.
📚Yesterday’s team meetings also included important focus areas across campus:
• Strengthening academic growth and preparation for upcoming iReady diagnostic assessments
• Reinforcing our commitment to character education through the Positivity Project, helping students build strong relationships, empathy, and leadership skills
