Inclement Weather Update: REMOTE LEARNING DAY on January 28, 2026

Good evening, Cabarrus County Schools families:

The safety of our students and staff remains a top priority for Cabarrus County Schools. Due to continued icy road conditions in parts of our county which will impact travel conditions for buses, staff, student, and parent drivers, CCS will implement a Remote Learning Day for Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Schools will be closed for teaching and learning. The full day of remote learning will include asynchronous instruction only. Please visit your school’s webpage for remote learning instructions. Staff, please visit the finance department webpage for instructions.

Kids:Plus will be closed and all afterschool activities are cancelled for Wednesday, January 28, 2026.
